Interviewer (Sterling Ferguson): What the biggest obstacle as an independent artist do you face today?
Dez Stackz (Music Artist): The biggest obstacle that I face is getting the right marketing and promotion. Trying to get a targeted audience and capturing people attention can be pretty hard at times since the music scene is constantly evolving.
Sterling Ferguson: What made you decided to become an artist and how did your upbringing influence the artist you are becoming today?
Dez: What made me become an artist was having my first song written for me. It wasn’t something that I was planning to take seriously. It was like a whatever thing to me. But when I heard my voice, I instantly fell in love. My family are music lovers. They play all types of music like Reggae, Rap, R&B, and even techno. My mom always made sure I had all the CDs of any new artist that came out.
Sterling Ferguson: What are some of the goals do you have for yourself as an artist and what are the steps you are taking to archive those goals?
Dez: My goal as an artist is to be international, I want be on billboards, I literally want to be the Drake in the game, I want to be the to go person when any one needs a feature.I want to sell out arenas of course stadiums etc.

Sterling Ferguson: What major artist would you or has influenced the sound of Dez Stackz?
Dez: I could say there’s multiple major artist that influenced me not just one. I feel like my sound is mixed with a bit of everything.
Sterling Ferguson: What is next for Dez Stackz and why should people be on the lookout for you?
Dez: I definitely would love for people to stay tuned into my music and career as an artist because I have confidence. And I’m focused and ready for whatever comes my way.
